The Haile Street Grill, part of the Camden landscape since opening their doors in 1928, serves up traditional breakfast fare, “Meat and 3” southern cuisine lunch and a menu selection of salads, sandwiches, and more Tuesday through Saturday weekly. In the southern United States, a “meat and 3” restaurant offers customers their choice of one meat from a daily changing selection of 5-8 choices and 3 side dishes from over a dozen options including vegetables, casseroles, and soups. Popular lunch menu items include the HSG Salad, spicy shrimp tacos, and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

About Us
Scott Edwards, the 3rd owner of Haile Street Grill, grew up riding his bicycle to “the grill” for lunch never knowing he would one day own the restaurant. He and his wife, Michelle, spent their careers as managing partners with Outback Steakhouse in Gastonia, North Carolina.
They returned home to Camden, SC for the annual Carolina Cup Steeplechase horse races in 2018 to find Haile Street Grill for sale. Having always dreamed of owning their own restaurant one day, they inquired about and then purchased Haile Street Grill in July 2018. “We prayed about it and coming home seemed like the right thing to do.”
Since taking ownership of “the grill”, Scott & Michelle have added Haile On Wheels food truck and HSG Catering to the culinary services offered to residents of Kershaw County and the surrounding areas. The Haile Street Grill restaurant, Haile on Wheels food truck and HSG Catering are true family businesses with everyone all working together each day to deliver delicious food for whatever your needs.
Whether it be Haile On Wheels feeding the local high school sports teams, HSG Catering serving the Board of Realtors Gala or a crew coming into Haile Street Grill for a hot, delicious & nutritious lunch, you’ll always leave happy & satisfied!
